i moved the other to scraps- photographed it in sunlight to-what a difference. im sure ill tweek it more when its decently dry. Its oils.
6/07 EDIT: Just an amusing tid bit, when i was working on "harder pressed" i did it on a much larger canvas and then cut it down, restretched,-etc. Anywho the painting in the painting is harder P, rotated clockwise. you can see my right arm. so relevant, hardly worth this typing.
This is really amazing! I love the idea & you executed it so perfectly! The detail & realism is breathtaking! I have to say though my absolute favorite part is the table, I see what you did there! Making the tables back edge a different height, I know the technique & honestly I don't get to see it so well done very often! Even the simple fact of being able to see the table & wall through the water in the glass is such a simple detail that most will forget to add in their paintings. Simply Masterful! I love love love it!
Great work! Nice idea and incredible technique, without fill the image with a lot of details, nevertheless you was able to achieved a stunning realism !! Congrats.
